Eileen Chisholm, PT, DPT, OTR/L, MOT
Eileen has an impressively calm personality and is known and relied upon in the clinic as a “I can help” kind of person.
Eileen Becnel completed an undergraduate degree at LSU in 2005 and decided to do more than most would in graduate studies, pursuing a Master of Occupational Therapy AND a Doctorate of Physical Therapy! Both of these degrees were completed by 2009 at the University of St. Augustine in St Augustine, Florida, decorating her signature with many letters! More importantly, this extra education prepared her to be able to evaluate and treat a wide variety of patients. Moving back to Baton Rouge corresponded with her wedding, becoming a Chisholm, and not long after, 4 children! Allie, Henry, Dean, and Reese, all in grade or middle school, have Eileen running the roads tackling sports schedules after work and on weekends.
Eileen, how do you feel like growing up in Vacherie, Louisiana has prepared you for life?
“There is a wide variety of people in Vacherie, all pretty good-natured, and things don’t move too fast there. I didn’t know any better then, but now that I reflect back, it was a great place to learn how to live.”
Fun Fact:
Where does she find the energy for 4 children and a 5-day a week job? Surprisingly, one of Eileen’s hobbies is working out at 5:15AM!
*Eileen is Dry Needling certified and works at the Jefferson location.
