THE SCIENCE

LightForce® Therapy Lasers emit special a kind of light that interacts with your body's tissues in a way that helps them heal faster.

This process, called photobiomodulation, speeds up the metabolism of your cells, which in turn accelerates the healing process. The red and near-infrared light from the lasers gets absorbed by your tissues, particularly by a part of your cells called mitochondria, which are like tiny powerhouses.

This stimulation of mitochondria leads to an increase in ATP, which is a molecule that provides energy to your cells. This energy boost helps to widen blood vessels and improve blood flow to the treated area, which is called vasodilation and microcirculation.

As a result, damaged tissues can better get rid of waste and receive important nutrients like oxygen, protein, and sugars that are essential for healing.
