Direct Access to Physical Therapy went into effect in 2016 and Brown Rogers Physical Therapy is the ideal clinic to trust with your care.
A physician referral is not needed for an individual to receive an evaluation and treatment by a licensed PT. Along with outstanding expertise and experience, Brown Rogers Physical Therapists provide a 1-hour comprehensive evaluation, allowing time to fully understand the injury or dysfunction. In our 19-year history, we have developed strong relationships with physicians and will direct you to other medical specialists if indicated.
With easier access to treatment, patients can save time and money while treating an acute or chronic injury or condition. A Physical Therapy evaluation at one of our two clinics is your first step to understanding pain and dysfunction.
Why Brown Rogers Physical Therapy?
With a desire to represent a comprehensive approach to patient care, we knew that time spent with a patient was key to not just understanding the individual, but helping them heal. With this philosophical foundation, in 2004 we rented a building and opened our doors just across from the newly developed Towne Center. We became well-known for our professionalism and for many specialties, including comprehensive orthopedic evaluation and treatment, manually-based physical therapy, and certified hand therapy. Two years later in 2006, we became the first private clinic in Baton Rouge to add pelvic health treatment.
Steady and continued growth based largely on word-of-mouth referrals from physician and patient trust, in 2010 we committed to building a larger clinic a few blocks down from our first location on Jefferson Highway. Responding to a need for quality aquatic therapy in Baton Rouge, an in-ground heated pool suite makes up 1200 of the 7500 square foot building!
In March of 2019 we added another location in South Baton Rouge, on Airline Highway, between Woman's Hospital and Long Farm. Both Physical Therapy and Pelvic Health Therapy are offered at the Airline Location!
